Our Team

Our Team grew up together in Youth Ministry, Boy Scouts and Friendship. By chance, they all went into careers that when joined together

 

Joe Weyers – Founder, Executive Director, Lead Social Media Evangelist

In 2012, while employed at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, St. Charles, IL, he wrote a parish social media plan.  Learning several lessons in the process and aftermath, in addition to new research, Joe wrote his Master’s of Divinity thesis in 2013 and 2014 on utilizing Social Media to share the Catholic faith at Loyola University of Chicago.  During this time, Joe also began writing and managing social media content for a Catholic apostolate and a national youth ministry organization.  With a B.A. in Theology, a M.A. in Pastoral Studies, and ten years of experience as an employee of Catholic parishes, Joe has continually adjusted and learned new ways to share the Catholic faith among youth, parents and parishioners as a whole.  Joe and his wife have 4 children, Max, Auggie, Nico and Mary Lou while residing in St. Charles, IL.

 

 

Brian Solar – Director of Client Relations

Brian has a sales, customer service, and educational industry background with experience selling loans and services. Since 2008, he has been a career coach and sales professional in recruiting and selling.  In 2009 he created, implemented, and managed 3 departmental Twitter accounts which directly led to an increased departmental awareness amongst those in the Career Services, resume writing, and recruiting fields.  During this time, he was a regular volunteer or participant in services, retreats and other events at Catholic parishes. Brian and his wife call Bevidere, IL home with their daughter, Lilly.

 

 

Vince Chiappone – Associate Director

Growing up as the youngest son to a youth minister, Vince was always around the parish. He has always had a beautiful faith and enjoyed sharing it. While his experience has previously been in sales, Vince appreciates and believes in the vision of The Agora 47 and wants to help spread the Catholic faith. He and his wife recently had their first child, Nicky and live in Algonquin, IL with their dog, Max.
